Gee pitched a really nice game. Couldn't have asked for anything better from him. Parnell blew this one. Looks like we need relievers and a closer.

In other news, if that last ball got past the center fielder, we would have won that game.

Mets beat the Braves 4-1. Torres gives up a HR to the first batter of the game and shuts down the Braves the rest of the way. And the bullpen cooperates this evening. :tu

That was a pretty bad loss. I didn't watch the game, but I did see the video of Young wrecking Hudson's ankle. That looked real nasty.

Mets win the first game of a double header with the Nats 11-0! Woohoo! Murphy had two HRs and five RBI. Davis also got a three run HR in the ninth.

Gee has "Home Runitis" this afternoon (gave up three solo shots) as the Mets drop one to the Nats, 4-1. Didn't help that hitters 4 through 9 went 0-18. :bh

Mets beat the Marlins last night 6-5 in 10 innings. Wheeler looked great early...but Collins left him in a little too long. This Lagares kid has been on fire of late. :tu
