Esoterica Dorchester in my Gresham. More full bodied and straight tobacco flavor than other blends I've had so far.

I seem to get more flavor sipping on it a couple little sips at a time rather than big pulls and massive clouds of smoke. So far no gurgle, even though I don't think I let it dry enough before trying it.

Wonder if that's a common belief. Can one of the vets out there comment on this?

When I take those huge puffs I think it's a bit too much for me to really pull out the notes that's all, it's overwhelming a bit, with the little sips there is only a bit of smoke and I can really 'think about it' while I'm enjoying my pipe.

Today during football a bowl of Penzance (bulk vs tin) in the Country Gentlemen (bent), I really enjoy this shape pipe, good feel in the hand.

I've been thinking about trying this stuff out. Wasn't sure if it would be as good as the hype I've read. Might have to order it now.

McClelland Christmas Cheer from '13. I have to say it have been the best pipe tobacco I've tried so far. If anyone has any they'd be willing to sell I would gladly buy it from them.

Just opened a tin of Frog Mortons Cellar. Had a bowl of it in my Weber Blackthorne. This might be my new favorite tobacco. Nice whiskey flavor with a subtle Latakia flavor in the mix. I really enjoyed it.

A little Owl's Head from 4noggins in an Eaton cob this morning. Very nice Lat mix, I should restock and put some away for down the road.
I went back to try Star of the East again last night. At first I found it a bit abrasive, tasty but very rough around the edges. With a little age on it (6-9 months) I'm finding it a little rounder, less harsh. With the difference found in a few months aging, I'm thinking this is another to buy and just put away for a couple years. The orientals pop now whereas they weren't as prominent when fresh.
