You can go to the Silk Creamer web page for a coupon, but then you'd have to leave alot of personal info to secure it:cf2

About $2 a qt. at Whole foods. Can't imagine the coup would be for much and yeah, I don't like giving out my info to anybody. Thanks for the thought, though.

Drinking the Espresso Workshop #21 -The Satpura Fold that I roasted on Sunday night. I see what they mean about the brightness. I roasted it to Full City and to what I think was the verge of 2nd crack, but can't really be sure since I didn't really hear it start 2nd crack. It's pretty decent, but I may try and go slightly farther next round.

It is in my cup today. Decent cup, but not blown away by it :sh Maybe with more rest.

Cool! I usually drip, sometimes press, so I never try these blends. Funny, because I buy 5 lb bags and roast and send to my Brother for his espresso making :D

It's certainly not the same as an actual espresso machine, but close enough for me.

The reason I got all the blends is because I ordered 2 4 bag samplers. One was espresso and the other single origin. So far, I've enjoyed the gneiss the most of the blends.

With 3, WOW! Now I know what you are talking about, awesome cup. The dry aroma, on the grind, was fantastic, knew it was gonna be good.

I had another cup this morning! What a great cup about a day past it's prime though, can't remember the roast date! Glad you liked it also, means I am not crazy.

At work, drinking Folgers, at least I'm the one who made it today so it isn't 3 spoonfuls of grounds for 12 cups.

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?

Just had a cup of the Mexican Chiapas I roasted yesterday. Very nice cup. Light body, which surprisingly held up well to my breakfast of a spicy lamb fritta. Actually had some flavors of cinnamon come out as I ate the fritta. Not a flavor associated with this bean, but I"m guessing it was due to the mix with the lamb/spices.

Now onto a cup of the Burundi I roasted yesterday. So far nothing that interesting. Will see as it cools.

Can't wait to try these tomorrow to see how well the extra day of rest does for them.

More of the Mexican Chiapas, now with 2 days rest. I really like this coffee. I wish it had a bit more body, then it would be perfect. But for my first ever roast I'm impressed.

Congrats brother, there is something very satisfying about drinking your own roasts!

I am drinking Black Market Espresso that ApexAZ sent me!

Everytime I have leftovers of green beans, I combine them to make a "Zombie Blend". This blend I am drinking now is Ethiopia Limu Jimma & Guatamala Antigua mixed.

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?

Burundi from the Gacokwe cooperative. American roast. A great balance of acid and sweet. A unique profile IMO. Don't know why it's so outstanding but I've been drinking it for a couple weeks now and I think my local has enough for a couple more batches so I'll be getting more. I didn't think it was possible but this stuff has pulled me away from the current crop of Ethiopia Harar Oromia which IMO is the nicest Ethiopian I've had since a sidamo a few years ago that made my whole house smell like blueberries.

Too mild for me and not a good value. But I do make some decent coin selling it -(P

I looked, I got none. Musta used it up last week. I roasted a lot of coffee, including 5 pounds of my "special blend" which is just a mix of whatever there isn't enough of for a roast on it's own. I think it got dumped in.

Had some of the Colombia Asociacion Los Naranjos, San Agustin, Huila I roasted 4 days ago. I've had another Los Naranjos before from a local roaster that I liked. This one was ok at first, but got a lot better as it cooled.

New coffee! El Salvador Las Mercedes Pepinal 1 Roasted 2 days ago to city+ - FC, drip, Silk. WOW! :cf1 This is EXCELLENT coffee.
Here is what Klatch says and they nailed it: A complete multidimensional coffee from start to finish. Lively acidity, round body and a substantial and intense fruity flavor. Creamy with hints of cherry, plum, peach, honey and chocolate.
Man, this is so complex, just awesome.
IF, I had cupped this before last weekend, I could have taken advantage of free shipping. This is worthy of a 10 pound buy -(P

I'm drinking Weeze's Folger's Gourmet Blend. It's the worst coffee I've ever drank, next to regular Folger's. She absolutely loves coffee and I've been introducing her to new stuff time and again, but it's always back to this glurp. It's mainly 100% acid. Great for getting the guts going. :D

El Salvador Majahual Tablon La Montana at Full City. Such a tasty roast. Med body, lite cinnamon, lite milk chocolate and a slight apple rind tart. Very juicy too.
