Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Coyer fired and Painter to bench for Orlovsky.
Yep, that should do it. Well, at least the Pats don't have any film on our starting QB. Oy fricking Vey. :tf |

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
I really hope that Peyton doesn't risk further injury by rushing back for the end of this season. Hopefully he can return next season at close to full strength and help his team. I really do feel for you guys, even Vic. I know how bad it was when Tom was out for the season and we couldn't even get bad enough to get a great draft position.:tu

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Unless Payaton demonstrates he's 100% before spring, he's going to be gone. He's due a $28M bonus March 1st. If they keep captain brokedick around, those idiots deserve another 0-12 start, not that I wouldn't enjoy another meltdown. :D.

Not necessary. Been a colt fan my whole life, and been an Oriole fan my whole life. Things go good, things go bad, eh. I'll just miss the classic Brady-Manning duel that would normally take place this Sunday. |

BTW re: Peyton, I truly hope he doesn't do something stupid and come back if there is ANY doubt about the long term viabilty of his neck/nerves. I really would hate to see a great competitor like him end up with a debilitating injury for the sake of a couple of meaningless games. |
Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Well, this looks interesting.

Much better than I expected out of Orlovsky. Can't imagine Bill calling off the dogs at the end, so maybe we can find one win this season.

Fellas, looks like Santa came early.

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Congrats guys. Hope that the Colts are careful about winning any more games or they could be out of the Suck for Luck derby.:D

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Tough win guys however you may have found a decent second string QB. Just think, you could have had 1/3 of your cap space tied up in 2 players or you could have traded Peyton to the Jets. Imagine this, both Mannings in New York; '2 foreheads, no waiting'. Have a great holiday season guys.:D

Well glad that's over.
Now 4 months of listening to the "experts" tell us what to do, so that whatever we do, they can then tell us we were wrong.:hn |

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
So how does the Colts faithful think about Tressel? I know the post above me is not a fan haha.
Also, what about Peyton coming back? Think he'll be able to? Career ending injury? Thoughts? |
Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Manning is done in Indy. As if they didn't throw away ~ $18M or whatever this year, I think I heard that the big head is due a $28M signing bonus the first week of March. Not gonna happen for a guy that won't even be cleared to play.
I think he's more likely to be wearing a Jets uniform than a Colts uniform next year, providing he is ever cleared. At least we can look forward to Eli having the same stupid mannerisms on the field for a few more years if Payaton is unable to go. |
Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
As Duane would say, "the forehead speaks!":D

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
All that I have read about Pagano has been good so far. A players coach for sure. After the Caldwell era, if an era can be 3 years, I will settle for someone that can manage a game clock and we'll work from there.
Defense will get bigger, that I like. Excited about the hire. |
Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Colts fans amaze me, or at least some of them do. I like to listen to the local sports radio shows on 1070AM, which is Grady and Big Joe, Dan Dakich, and JMV. The stories swirling about the past 3-4 weeks are ridiculous to say the least.
Polians are fired and a new GM is hired. Fine. Caldwell fired and new coach announced. Fine. But the absolute dumbest thing talked about by all these idiots who call/email like to complain about how it seems as though Irsay and the new GM haven't really done anything to involve the Forehead in moving the team forward. It's as though they expect Payaton to have some say in the hiring process for the new coach/GM. Um, the odds are pretty darned high that the Forehead himself won't have a job come March 8th himself, unless the Colts want to throw away another $28M bonus for a guy not cleared to play in the NFL yet. Idiots anyway. |

I was hoping for a better ending than this.

Re: The Horseshoe Mafia
Now that he is officially gone, I can say, as a Pats fan, that he will be missed. The epic battles between Payton and Brady were always something special. I just hope that his neck is REALLY healed and that he is not doing something really stupid by continuing to play football. I would rather remember him as a great competitor, not a cripple.

Now we pay.
brackett, Clark, addai and bulliitt gone. Team is listening to offers for Freeney. My Hoosiers might be better than the Colts next year. Posted via Mobile Device |
