I was using the WWB for my .40.. Was just seeing if something else was out there.. Never heard of PMC, or I just haven't paid attention to it.

If you are looking for range ammo for getting used to your gun and how it fires and dialing it in, I would suggest what you would regularly load in it. Shooting a different ammo at the range than you would use regularly is like practice batting with a different bat than you would use in a ball game.

So you the hollow points I plan on keeping in it?

Totally makes sense Mikepd, 110%

How much can a different ammo affec the shot? To someone like me who has maybe 500 rounds of firing on me.

The accuracy of a low end ammo compared to high end ammo can be pretty substantial sometimes.

Re: First Firearm Thread.

OK.. Accuracy is the main thing? Any other things I should consider?

Re: First Firearm Thread.

Since the gun is new to you I would focus on becoming very familiar with the gun first

I like to be able to put my weapon into battery without looking at it. If your in a low light situation, or get into a conflict you wont have time to look at the gun

Re: First Firearm Thread.

Got ya.. That is my main part too.. This is a smaller gun than I had before. I want to shot way more than I did with the other one. I want to carry this gun, so I want to know it inside and out...
