Atlanta's goalie (Pavelic?) stopped 23 of 24 shots in the first, Thrashers up 3-1.

Scratch that, quickly 3-3.

Watching Edmonton V. Washington.

All Oilers first 2 periods. Now Ovechkin has turned it on. Scored 2 goals and hit a post in the first few minutes of the 3rd. I predict the hat trick.

Man was that a game or what!
Funny two on the radio feed one of the guys was saying dont say the word, dont even think it. Implying choke. Then CHOOOOOOOOOOOOKE!

That was a hell of a 3rd period

OO and apparently the fire in the minni van was started by a blow torch used for heating up sticks. Yikes!

The bersmooochi goal count 10. This one is gonna be close. Come on clown shoes win me some sticks

Few early penalties on both sides of Wings vs Hawks. Bertuzzi took a good penalty on a break away for Toews. Almost halfway through the 1st.

And Duncan Keith just scored on a power play  1-0 bad guys

bad slump for the Bruins right now. Only two points in the four games

Hawks win 3-0 :( Season series 1-1 now.

Neither side looked that great. Hawks pulled it out, 2 goals from defenseman which also happened to the Wings the night before against Dallas.. Huet had an easy night only facing 20 shots. Kane went out with an injury hopefully not too serious.

Wings need some bodies back.. 3 Defenseman out and 5 regular players doesn't help our effort. Wings vs Hawks again Wednesday! It definitely is Christmas week :D

Osgood gave up horrible goals to Campbell and Byfuglein. Even the missing players couldn't have helped them tonight the way Ozzie played.

Hawks puck control, especially between Keith and Seabrook, looks like the Wings of a couple years ago.

Yep, Osgood really didn't play well tonight.

Defense did too. I think Keith and Seabrook are the best tandem in the NHL at this point. Hjalmarsson is a future AllStar, and Hendry has been playing well after being a forward for a spell. Even Sopel didn't look 50 years old tonight. :r

Preds are for real...that line with Arnott, Sullivan and Erat is scary.

Carefull now. Thats a rough picture. While Osgood is definetly not the old Osgood I still believe him to be a hall of famer based on his post season play and his body of work. I am no redwings fan. Actually cant stand them as a Sharks fan, but Osgood is just one of those guys.

Friggin Bersmoochi needs to score atleast one a night till the midway point. :r

Marty Brodeur is a Hall of Famer too, but he still has stinker nights. Tonight was a BIG stinker for Osgood.

Other then the Keith goal, the other 2 were terrible. Aside from maybe a combined 5 min stretch by the Datsuyk line, the whole Wings team played bad. A few days off and playing at the Joe on Wednesday will make a difference on Wednesday night.

I think the Wings will give the Hawks all they can handle Wednesday, especially with the Hawks having to play the Sharks Tuesday. Our best hope is that the Wings goaltending continues to struggle, at least for one more game.

I am hoping the Sharks take a pound of flesh from the hawks for the beat down the recieved on home ice the last time they played. That game still gives me nightmares. They were destroyed out there and looked like a jr b squad.

Well being they play dallas tonight and then fly to chicago and play tomorrow, you may get your wish. The Stars always play the sharks very tough. Will likely be a very good game, but will leave them spent.

Enjoy it brother... my Hurricanes have only 9 wins thus far, with a stinging loss to the Rangers tonight. Got to sit right there in my season seat at the RBC and watch the whole infuriating debaucle.

Marty Brodeur is an institution!

Sharks are dangerous every night, regardless of back-to-back games. Hawks have been stellar at home, but the Sharks must be thirsty for revenge. Hoping for a great game.

Good game by the Hawks. Didnt agree that the game was called, but homers will be homers and thats life. I dont think anyone can argue the Hawks were not given more than ample power play chances to win the game. :r

I don't like either team but what a entertaining game. 47 shots on Nabakov is insane and he had a great game. 14 shots on Huet and he allows 3, hope he is in that form tonight :D.

Thanks Paul, glad they only play the Bruins once, they have a lot of talent.

Hawks pretty much dominated the game against the Sharks, if not for Versteeg's typical blue-line, cross-ice, power-play giveaway and another breakdown on the 3-1. Congrats on the win, as a win is a win, Mike. See you next time. :)

I hope the Hawks got some sleep, they had to fly out to Detroit in an ice storm. I expect the Wings to be firing with both barrels tonight.

Great game! (Sharks & Hawks).
Hawks handled the puck much better and longer than the Sharks for sure. All I can say is Nabbi was ON. Huet must have just been having a off night, with all those shots the Hawks were putting on net I thought for sure the Sharks were doomed.
Nabbi you rock :banger

I assume Ozzie will get some time too, after the Hawks send Howard to the showers. :r
