The Martian by Andy Weir and This Idea Must Die: Scientific Theories That are Blocking Progress edited by John Brockman.

Looking forward to seeing the Martian after reading the book. Also if anyone would like to read the Martian I have Weir's copy he distributed. This copy may be legally sent to anyone so send me a PM with your email and I will pass along.

I really liked the book -- and they did a good job adapting the book to the screen. I saw the movie yesterday and it is pretty good.

Back to classic Sci fi with 2001: a Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. After reading The Martian, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.

A page reference means nothing since users have different number of posts per page. Now a link to a specific post would work.

Me? I'm reading Gathering Prey by John Sandford.
