The Lincoln Lawyer. My wife hates Matthew McConaughey and normally won't watch any of his moves; she actually like the movie. It starts off a little slow but finished well.

The Rum Diary - I was expecting crazyness like Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, even though it wasn't as crazy it was entertaining and pretty good.....lots of cigars in the film too.

Kick Ass - Different - Fairly entertaining, and I liked the little homages to various superheroes, Quentin Tarantino, early Nic Cage, etc. More violent than it needed to be. Think they were trying to emulate Kill Bill - type violence at times, but landed in bad spot little below over-the-top-cartoonish

I thought this was a kids movie. I couldn't believe when I watched it. It was entertaining, I just can't stand Cage anymore.

I started watching Life in a Day last night, turned it off when a kid started shaving for the first time. He was pressing down soo hard on his face, bleeding all over.

J. Edgar a few nights back...NOT for everybody, but I always prefer this kind of movie to your standard cookie-
cutter Least common denominator stuff. I give it 1.5 thumbs up.

Overall good movie. First 2/3 of the movie was original, final 1/3 predictable.

That's coming up on my Netflix queue,

Today was Downfall, it was on my queue, but my professor told me yesterday that I could watch it and do a write-up for extra credit, really good. It is in German, and English subtitled, but definitely worth it, about Hitler's last 12 days alive, and the fall of Berlin, what was going on inside the Nazi party as it was crumbling to pieces. Written from the first-hand account of Hitler's personal stenographer, so considerably accurate.
