agreed, it's mold, not plume. i would take them back ASAP. if they try telling you it's plume then i don't think i would keep shopping there.

Yeah, if they try to pull that crap tell them to smoke one on you and let them tell you later in the day how their feeling. Seriously though, if they refuse to refund your money I would snap close-up pics and send it to Pete Johnson and let him at least see how his product is being sold. If they order from him direct I bet they will get a phone call letting them know what he thinks of their so called plume, but with the amount of coin you just dropped there they should have no problem keeping you happy.

I had a similar thought, Huy. My first reaction was that they looked like those NC ERDMs that are wrapped in tissue paper.

Plume? It looks more like a mold culture that has a cigar in it. :D

I would most certainly be looking for replacements or refund.

I though they were the CC Fonseca's with the paper they wrap them in

If it wipes off easily it is mold. It does look like way to much to be plume though...

Yikes! Good luck with returning them. How could they sell these with all that mold to begin with?

Knowing they can use the Plume Gimmick rather than pull them off the shelf and lose money on the inventory. I would love to find these sticks in a local and have them try the whole Plume spiel. That would make for a fun afternoon.:D

Aww c'mon! If anything those babies would help you fight a small infection when you smoke em! They look "rich" with Penicillin!

Re: Show your latest NC purchase!

seriously, they are the prime example of a moldy cigar. Someone should take a macro shot of them and post them to the internet showing the difference in mold and plume! LOL

They deep fry them first, then coat them with powder sugar. Kind of like a cigar funnel cake.
