Poker night last night. Had an Illusione 88, Padron 5000 maduro and an AF 8-5-8 maduro.

The 8-5-8 Maduro is on of my "go to" smokes. I always keep box of these in the humi.

Had a Diesel UC and a Diet Coke on the back deck last night while I was grilling some food. Good stick and perfect weather! Can't wait to do it again tonight.
I will probably put a little something in my stomach tonight though. Got a little woozy on the Diesel.

I attended the 3rd weekly GTMO herf tonight and started with a Diesel UHC. It was an excellent cigar. Started off a bit iffy then came into its own after about the first half inch. Great flavor and one of the best rolled cigars I have had. I was able to keep the ash through the first 2/3.

The second cigar of the night was an Alec Bradley Sun Grown. I always make the mistake of smoking the strongest first so the beginning of this one was a bit drowned out by the UHC. That however did not last and after the first third I really started to taste this one. I was a great smoke, medium bodied with a little spice toward the end.

Oh... I had an H Upmann Vintage Cameroon last night while having a camp fire and enjoying a beautiful evening. It was awesome!

Last night I stopped at the liquor store and bought some cheap beer and picked up a cheap Jack Daniels cigar....It wasn't great, but it was ok for the $.

I was bombed it, I love the thing but don't know where it comes from. It folds up into a nice little sheath also, very cool.

I've had the Lonsdale size of this line a while back, and I was pretty impressed! I need to try something in a little larger RG though. I'm glad that you liked it!

Just had nice quick stogie I've never heard of before. Called Bocas del Monte, a DR hand made corona style cigar. My oldest picked up the box while on a school trip to Costa Rica. He's 17, so I might just have to confiscate these...

Buena Vista Edicion Limitada 2008. Good smoke, but I'd take an EPC Core Line anyday for the same flavor profile and half the price. Definitely not worth the $17 they charge for this stick.
