Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees beat the Royals yesterday 12 - 6 after a 2 1/2 hour rain delay. They'll start their road trip tonight taking on the Indians at 1905(7:05pm). Also a big congrats to Jamie McMurry for winning the Brickyard yesterday and only the third driver in history to win the Daytona 500 the same year. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430. Well, the Yankees won last night 3 - 2 over the Indians ans the two teams will be back at it again tonight. C.C. Sabathia will be on the mound for the Bombers and just as last night, the first pitch will go off at 1905(7:05pm). Today is my last work day for a week as I'm taking off till next Wednesday from the office. Doing a couple of day trips here and there and then Beth and I will be heading to the Poconos for the long weekend. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys...... :D

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is finally on. First day of vacation, Beth and I are planning a cruise on the Hudson River today. Well, the Yankees lost last night 4 - 1 and hopefully they turn that around this evening with a "W". A.J. Burnett will be pitching tonight for the Bombers as the game starts at 1905(7:05pm). Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's day two of my stacation. We had a great time yesterday taking the Hudson River Cruise out of Kingston on the Rip Van Winkle http://www.hudsonrivercruises.com/. We had lunch at Rosita's http://www.rositasonline.com/ and after the cruise, we went over to the Mariner's Harbor for a couple of cold ones and some fresh seafood from the raw bar http://www.marinersharborny.com/mariners/. Finished off the evening with an 03' Opus X Petitte Lancero which was smooth as silk. It was good to see the Yankees beat the Indians 8 - 0 and the two teams will play one more this evening at 1905(7:05pm) again. Today, I'm planning on driving down to Barrister Cigars in Union, NJ for a fund raiser to benefit The Steve Faccenda Children’s Education Fund. Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. I had a great time yesterday at the Barrister and it was good to see Tim O. as always. They raised quite a bit for the Children's Education Fund and it was great to have Steve's wife in attendance along with the three kids. As I was driving home from New Jersey, I had the Yankees game on. The Bombers went from a 2 -1 game and by the time I got home, it was 9 - 1. The final score was 11 - 4 and I'm sure the stands were pretty empty by the 8th inning. This weekend New York is taking on the Rays down in Tampa Bay and this evening it will be Phil Hughes startin' for the Yanks at 1905(7:05pm). Also this weekend, the NASCAR racers are at the Pocono Raceway where Beth and I will be headin' tomorrow thru Monday. We have the pleasure Sunday morning of escorting the Color Guard from West Point to present the National Colors at the start of the Pocono 500. It should be a memorable time and I hope that the weather cooperates. Currently there's a slight chance of rain for Sunday and I hope it stays that way. Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans coffee is on. Well, we are taking off shortly for the Poconos and the slight chance of rain has now turned to a chance of rain. Either way, we're going in and hopefully they start the race on time. If it gets rain delayed, I'm off till Wednesday, so we'll go back to the track on Monday and watch it then. On another note, the Yankees lost last night 3 - 2 and now the Rays are only one game behind. The two teams will play again this evening at 1910(7:10pm) and A-Rod is still at 599 homers. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Beth and I are back from the Poconos and we had a great time. We got to walk up and down pit road, drive on the track, see every driver before and after driver introductions and sit in seats right on top of pit wall road. It rained a little bit prior to the race which delayed the start but once the green flag flew, it didn't show again until there was about 25 laps to go. At that time there was a bad accident, so between the clean up and rain delay, we made it to a restaurant right down the road. I see that the Yankees are now tied for 1st place with the Rays as the Bombers lost last night 8 - 6. We are headin' down to the Bronx this afternoon to catch the game this evening as long as the thunder storms hold out. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys a favorite stogie or tow....... :tu

This weekend the Sprint Cup and Nationwide NASCAR racers are at Michigan International Speedway which is located in Brooklyn, MI. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck series racers are going to be down in Darlington this Saturday evening which always makes for a great race as well. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already Monday morning. The Yankees crushed the Mariners in the rain 10 - 0 yesterday and today they are off to Toronto for a 1907(7:07pm) start time. I've got quite the busy week coming up between a tight schedule here at West Point and then we're closing on our new home Friday morning, I can hardly wait until next weekend comes. Today the Yankees will be taking on the Blue Jays here in the Bronx starting at 1305(1:05pm) and as a matter of fact, all 3 games this weekend will be day games. Last night I stopped over and smoked a nice A.F. Double Chateau Sungrown at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on this sunny Sunday morning. Well, what can I say, the Yankees won their 8th in a row and did it in Yankee fashion. They were down by 3 runs and came back to win it 7 - 5 with help from Marcus Thames hitting a homer in the bottom of the 8th. The two teams will be back at it again today with Phil Hughes on the mound for the Bombers. A big congrats goes out to the Army Black Knights as they won their season opener out in East Michigan with a final score of 31 - 27. This evening, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racers will be down in Atlanta starting at 1930(7:30pm), it should be a hot one as always. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees lost their 3rd game in a row and C.C. Sabathia is stuck on 19 wins still. The Bombers will be taking on the Birds today at 1305(1:05pm) and hopefully they end this losing streak. Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy "Hump Day" and enjoys a favorite or two or....... :)

Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. Well, the Yankees ended their losing streak in New York fasion with Nick Swisher hitting a 2 run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th to win it, 3 - 2:

The Bombers are off today and will be taking on the Texas Rangers this weekend down in Arlington, TX. Being that it's Thursday, I will do my best to stop on over at Schlesinger's this evening to enjoy a primo stogie and see how all the S/BOTL are doing. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430. I stopped over to Schlesinger's last night to enjoy a nice cigar and see how the locals are doing and all. It was pretty busy since last night as they were televising the NFL's season opener. Tonight, the Yankees will be taking on the Rangers at 2005(8:05pm) and the NASCAR Nationwide Series will be live from Richmond, VA starting at 1900(7pm) as well. Tomorrow, Army has it's first home football game of the season which is against Hawaii with a 1200(12pm) kickoff. It's gonna be a long (but fun) day as we have to be in the Emergency Operation Center at 0530(5:30am) until 1600(4pm) in support of the day's festivities. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys....... :tu

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, Army lost to Hawaii 31 - 28 yesterday as did the Yankees 7 - 6. Denny Hamlin won the NASCAR race last night in Richmond, VA, congrats to the entire Joe Gibbs racing team. Today we have a few NFL games to watch as well as the Yankees vs the Rangers baseball game. Mornin' Charlie, in more important sorts news, Everton scored twice in injury time to deny Manchester Utd and 3-1 win at Everton's home ground, Goodison Park. Best result of yesterday. Not that anyone reading this thread probably cares about (real) football....

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso coffee is brewin'. Well, the Yankees lost another one (4 - 1) and hopefully they bounce back tonight with a "W". They'll be taking on the Tampa Bay Rays down at Tropicana Field with a start time of 1910(7:10pm). It will definitely be a pitching duel with C.C. Sabathia (19 - 6) taking on David Price (17 - 6).
