Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Does anyone one else watch talking dead?
|
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Good episode. Dale was a pain, except he fixed that camper..hope someone else is handy. I must be jacked in the head because I agree with Shane 99.9% of the time. They should have wasted that kid in the barn a longggg time ago..hell I would have left his ass on that fence for zombie bait.

So glad they finally got rid of Dale!!! Couldnt stand his cry baby attitude!!
And Mase you are right about the little kid...weak!! |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I liked it.
It was a little slow at times. Darell with the interrogation of the kid in the barn. :tu Dale getting attacked that was something I did not expect. I think it kinda of sucks he's gone, he was basically the the groups conscience. Carl is going to get more people Killed in the long run he needs a beating. Overall still a good episode. I can't wait for next week. PS. The gun that Carl took will come into play again. Whether it be someone accidentally finds it or Darell needs it and it's not there :2 |

the kid in lockdown, terminate him
Carl, needs an azz whooping Dale, he needed killing...see ya get off the farm before others die due to someone elses snafu |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Great twist at the end of the episode. I was getting sick of his whining.
Too bad Carl got away from the walker. :) Only a couple of episodes left. |

No one likes a whiner, although I would like to remove Shane's nutzak so he would CHILL THE F OUT now and again. Carl and his Sea You En Tea mother need to wake up and realize they are no longer in the old world. Put two in the back of the head of the kid from the outsiders group. End the drama and the waiting game of who gets it first through his treachery. All that said, I don't get to watch the episode til tonight, so I am as spoiled as spoiled gets. But I know what to do if I do not want the show spoiled for me, so there you go. |

That thumbs down on the prev. page was for the spoiler from a show that wasn't even cold yet. But I have been accused of being a spoiler, too, so my hands aren't clean. But I spoil only after 24 hours have passed. Of course I don't get to WATCH before 24 hours have passed, so it takes some of the luster off my crown of superiority, haha. Looks like I will have a lot to enjoy tonight, except a lack of zombie action?? :td |

On the part of Dale's demise, I think he did provide a good opposing view--his argument around maintaining civility, a grip on humanity, etc.--were all good points. |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
First of all, I love this show!!!!:noon
Dale was the moral compass of the group, but unrealistic of what is going on. It is survival of the fittest. I wouldn't kill the kid in the barn, I would torture his ass for info, about where his "group" was and the next time they when on a scouting trip, ambush them and take their weapons. Then I would kill him. He is associated with a group of people who tried to kill , the group and he admitted he stood buy and watched the other members of his group rape 2 girls and made the father watch. That should have been brought up in the meeting. Trust is the most important factor in any relationship. Second, I would lock down everyone. WTF are people just meandering around alone, by themselves for? There are Zombies all over the place!!! Hello!!! And that's another thing, Where are all the zombies? This story takes place North of Atlanta. Do you know how many people are in this area? Another thing, why aren't they, getting more supplies? When they went to that bus yard, why didn't they drive that fuel truck back to the farm? I woulld make it a point to get as much equipment, fuel , earth moving equipment, ect. to the farm and start to make the farm a fortified compound.:D I know, I know...it's only a story.:) |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Great points :tu
I would search for the all girls Catholic high school that is holding out in the suburbs :D |

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Possible spoiler alert:
In the Talking Dead, they referenced a scene at the end where Dale saw the cow. They said that originally there was supposed to be a cast member laying there instead of the cow. |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I was expecting that cow to be a zombie and go after Dale lol
|
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Yep, I was wondering if animals were finally going to be involved as well.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
He freaking LOOKS like Damian, thass fo sho.
I liked Dale, the group needed a guy just like him. It is one thing to lose bodies, especially women, it's another to lose knowledge. Dale has a skill that no one else seems to possess, automotive maintenance. Lots of people in the group are hotheads, a few can breed, some can cook and clean. But Dale was something annoying but neccessary, like me. Sort of glad he is gone, but it is not a "nothing" loss by any means, like the kid. |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Dale quoted Faulkner in the first season = good guy by my book :tu

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Speaking of that 1 zombie, I have to give credit to the make up dept on this one, they really made the eyes look dead.....they were just empty and no emotion, I really appreciated how the camera kept zooming in on the face......fanboy moment over, just wanted to post my admiration on this one thing.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Since you guys brought it up, my thoughts on the show. No one seems to have made anything of it, but I thought
Herschel giving up his pocket watch was a classy, unexpected and touching moment. I also noticed something about the single zombie on the show, it DID look really excellent. It stood out and was very well-done. Also I had to laugh at Carl's throwing motion. He was right on that zombie and was hitting him on the wrist, missing altogether, bouncing one off the hip. I'm like "Hey KID, you're throwing rocks at a captive freaking threat...hit em in the freaking head!!" |
