Mets are lucky they pulled it out.
The 3 errors on the ball Soriano hit was one of the worst plays I've ever seen.

Harvey strikes out a career high 13 as the Mets beat the Braves, 4-3, in the first game of the doubleheader. Finally picks up win #6.

Mets acquire Eric Young for Collin McHugh. I like this trade. McHugh did nothing for us. Young didn't exactly burn it up in Colorado, but he can play all three outfield positions and second base. Plus, he's got speed to burn...something we lack. He can't be any worse than the outfielders we have now.

To make room for their newest player, the Mets designated Collin Cowgill for assignment, essentially cutting ties with him despite his remaining Minor League options.

Mets lose to the Braves 5-3 last night. Mets send Wheeler down to AAA, but keep Marcum on the roster, who is 0-9 with a 5.76 ERA. Can someone please explain this to me?? :confused: :confused:

My understanding is that it was just a "procedural" move, and he's not going to miss his next scheduled start... only interested because I picked him up in my NL only fantasy league. Otherwise, I couldn't care less! :r
