I'm not so sure he deserves an Oscar, but he did pull off a really good supporting role.

I thought that movie would have been great if it just had another 15 minutes of fighting footage... Without it it just seemed like it was dull and lacked a lot of action, especially the ending sequence.

Real Steel, It was actually better than I thought it was going to be

Gonna watch Secretary when the woman gets home. For those of you who haven't seen it... it comes highly recommended to watch with your significant other.

I gave The Thing a shot last night. Lots of comments that this one is not as good as the original, but frankly
that movie was not so fantastic to me either, so to me the 2011 flick was just plain old OK. I like the woman in the
lead role only after I realized who she was and where I remembered her from (Scott Pilgrim vs The World). She seemed
kind of odd in the first third of the film, looking like she was TRYING to act rather than acting, certain silent brooding
emotion and looks off into space. I coudn't do any better, but with her it just seemed forced. But then she got in gear.
Not a great movie, but ehh, it was better than watching local TV on Thursday.

Edward Scissor Hands, so much more messed up than I remember it from my childhood...
Lethal Weapon 2, not quite as good as the first, but still a good movie. Mel Gibson is so badass.

Tried to watch a bit of Road House. I was overruled. It defies logic, but I love that movie.
