MAN its been a long time since I saw grain.....wait, no it hasn't I just shot at 4 am.
I MEAN film grain. Took me a while to get used to it. Tell us next whether it was worth
investing in a camera and film and processing. I am FULLY converted forever and always.
But back when I used film, I wasn't all that good, anyway. I always just blamed the
hand-me-down camera and my lack of knowledge. Never had a lesson. So I always wondered
why my flash shots at football games were half black. I guess I must have found the answer
at a library or something. You see kids, when I WAS young, there was no internet to find the
answers to stuff, lol.

Less sky, more butt.

I LOVE the way film grain looks vs digital noise. I'll be sticking almost 100% ro B&W with film. I will be posting some color though.

Looks like somebody stole Captain Morgan's little brother's sword blade. Sold for scrap iron by some poor street urchin
most likely. When I get home I want to post up a cool shot I took that I never felt was worth anyone looking at, but
now you reminded me of it...

I wanted to stick these up there since you reminded me of em. Prior to seeing the cruise ship I had deemed them
useless for sharing. This is about 5am on the Riverwalk in New Orleans.

We both know they are crappy, but the subject matter is cool. I never expected to see that in
the middle of the MS river that that time of the morning, although cruise ships are a common sight there.
If I had intended to ever be able to use it, exposure compensation would have been a good idea.
But I wanted the sun more than the ship, so I made a choice, lol.

I think that there is certainly a place in the bag for that Kodak film, but not for the effect you
went so far as to buy a camera to acheive. SO I think you are right.

I like the pix. I kinda dig how its underexposed but the sun is exposed well.
