well every store in my city ( and Surrounding city's) are all sold out of Borderlands.. so i ordered it online, now all i can do is Smoke, Drink, and be Merry ( and Play Call of Duty 4 if anyone is down :banger )

I picked it up last Thursday-I am just playing the solo game-lots of fun. The story line isn't as tight as fallout 3 fun the action is fun.

I'm liking Borderlands a lot so far. I don't really think it's like Diablo, it's a hybrid shooter game. Same premise as Fallout, hardly any story that I can make out (go here, talk to so and so, kill such and such, level up). Very addicting though, i've already grinded my way up to level 23 and i've only had it a few days. I'm playing as Brick, I like going nuts and punching the crap out of people :r

I'm level 21 hunter and just drove into New Haven. I heard that there is a level 50 cap, but I don't know how much of the game is left. One of the missions has a glitch in it-the revolver parts-I found all but one. I go to where the waypoint is and I have stood right on the spot but there is nothing there.

I got that revolver. The last piece is in the burnt out car in front of the place the marker is. Drove me nuts too.

I watched the review of borderlands and didn't think I would like it that much. Although I did like fallout very much, so if they are similar maybe I would enjoy it. However, not buying anything this close to the release of MW2 because that will be taking up ALOT of my time.... haha

how is that NOT like Diablo ( with out being a shooter ) lol...

You walk around, do quests.. you get items after killing things.. Open chests, dig around in piles retrieve more items, get stronger weapons, items to sell, haha its awesome!

Very similar to Fallout and just as addictive. No plot, but lots of funny lines.

Rented, and have been playing Way of the Samurai recently just waiting for MW2 and AC2 to come out in a week or so.

Its kind of a meh game, but I love Samurai games :)

Been playing Borderlands for the PC with friends. Got up to level 18 with a Soldier. One friend plays as a Siren, and the other two play as Hunters. Been having fun playing it, but the first night trying to get multi-player to work was such a PITA. Far too many headaches trying to find the right ports to forward on the router for the game host. But now that we got it working, things are clicking along well.

Anybody else playing the PC version of Borderlands?

There are a few times where I wish it was 3rd person... would actually be pretty fun to play it that way (everything is over-the-shoulder except when you zoom in).

Maybe. I like it how it is though, i've got two campaigns running and it's actually pretty impressive how different they play out between characters.

I am more than half way thru the 2nd playthrough-level 47 hunter. I don't know if there is any reason to go on after I hit level 50...maybe start over with a soldier. That Bloodwing is awesome-takes the heat off of me.

No, i'm still slowly powering my way through Demon's Souls. I prob won't pick up another rpg until Mass Effect 2, maybe by then i'll have beaten DS. That game is a beast with the difficulty. But in a good way.

I'm probably not gonna get L4D2, the first one was alright but I didn't love it. Two seems like more of the same to me. I honestly had much more fun with the CoD zombie maps. I even liked Killing Floor better :r

Back to Borderlands until Modern Warfare comes out. Then Assassins Creed after that along with the new SMB game a new RE game after that. And I still haven't had time for Tropico 3. This months is nuts with releases.

lv 50 and havent even started my 2nd time play through if anyone wants to quest or look for weapons ( Soldier)

And I will be creating another char. shortly if anyone would like to go threw the game again from ground 1 :banger
( Heads up, when a game is full of lv 50 chars x4 the loot will be maxxed)

Mine is arriving today by UPS-can't wait. I wonder if CoD will finally push me onto Live? I have resisted for years.

Level 50 hunter on Borderlands. I am half way through the 2nd playthrough. Maybe I should just start a new character and try a different class.

Having fun with Assasin's Creed II-it is different than the first game. I don't know why they changed it. The first one was awesome. So far the action takes place in 1400 Florence and there is more color to the graphics. Game play is the same, but less fighting and more puzzles to figure out. And I miss the flags! Way too many cut scenes but a lot of playing time, unlike solo CODMWII.
