Finishing up an India Poabs Organic Seethargundu Estate, roasted 4 days ago to FC, drip, splash. Smooth, complex, with a nice long finish. A very nice coffee, from SM.

Knocking back a little more of the Woodchuck before heading out for the evening. I think the Sidomo roast from these guys is a little light to be my morning coffee, but it's killer in the evening.
Trying to get a coffee pass going if any of you guys haven't made a trip to the passes forum lately. I'm going to leave it open until next Friday, if there's no interest I'm drinking it :D Link |

Enjoying a cup of Great Lakes Coffee Mackinaw Island blend. Local roaster with some pretty good coffee.

Bolivia Beneficio Buenaventura Lot 45 :cf2 roasted 3 days ago to FC, drip, splash. Nice, smooth, chocolate, some nuts and sweetness. This is from SM.

Just finiched my mug of Rwanda Kibuye Gitesi roasted 4 days ago to Full City +.
Very Nice! Nutty, Chocolatly and slightly fruity. Very sweet. |

The last of the Bolivian, is sweeter and more floral today. More like SM's description. With 4 days rest, go figure :sh

60% Guatemala Acatenenango -Finca La Soledad at Vienna & 40% Kenya Nyeri Ngunguru at Full City+. Deep Dark Chocolate, Baking Spices, Slight Citrus on the sides of the tongue and a small amount of bitter on the back end. Overall a nice dark blend. |

A special lighter roast of the Bolivian, city-city+, clean, sweet, floral, good cup. But, not what I would choose to drink everyday. I like it darker and chocolatey.

I have been drinking Nescafe for the last 4 days....I broke my French Press--replacement carafe is arriving on Monday.....I miss coffee. :(

Tried a blend this morning of:
75% Rwanda Kibuye Gitesi at Full City + & 25% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at City +. It is decent, but seems to be lacking someting. Its a nice sweet Mid-Range blend. |

The last of a batch of Ethiopia Amaro Gayo Organic Natural, roasted to city-city+. Smooth sweet, nice. Some brandied cherry as the cup cools. This was a much stronger in yesterday's cup.

50% Guatemala Acatenango -Finca La Soledad at Vienna+ and 50% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at City+ Very nice flavors. Fullness in the background from the dark roast (coco, baking spices) and a fruity, citrus form the Lighter El Salvador. |

Drinking some local roast from a joint called Buffalo Mountain... got a gift card for XMas so I figured I'd try it out... really nice flavors, definitely makes the house smell like chocolate after grinding...

New coffee! Costa Rica Los Nacientes :cf1 roasted 2 days ago to FC, in the FR, drip (Capresso with gold filter) dollop of 1/2 & 1/2. Great creamy body, milk chocolate, nuts.

Just pressed some Rwanda Kibuye Gitesi at Full city +. Very tasty. Not quite as candy-like as the FT Dunkunde Kawa Musasa, but very good.

I roasted an "old" favorite, from earlier this year, yesterday. Looking forward to the 1st cup tomorrow. El Salvador El Carrizal, tastes like chocolate covered in cherries. Hope I hit the roast right.

El Salvador Matalapa - Tablon El Naranjo :cf1 roasted 2 days ago to city+ - FC+, drip, dollop. GREAT aroma on the grind, some sweetness and citrus in the cup, maybe a tad thin. Good cup. This is the one I screwed up the roast on :D

70% Papua New Guinea Baroida Estate at Full City & 30% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at Full City. Roasted seperately 3 days ago. Very tasty. Just the right amount of Spice, Chocolate and Citrus. |

Right now its:
50% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at Full City & 50% Guatamala Bourbon Finca San Diego Buena Vista at Full City. Roasted seperately. This makes an excelent blend. They work very well together. |

Sumatra Dry Hulled Aceh Bukit :cf1 Roasted 2 days ago to FC+, maybe Lt Vienna, Capresso drip, dollop. WOW! So good, sweet spices, nice body. This is SO good, I went and ordered another 5 lbs from SM. Want to be able to share this :tu
