However, there is the flip side that teams can better prepare from their defeats than they can from their wins. The Eagles will go back and see what it is they did and didn't do and attempt to make corrections. The Cowboys will likely go out and do what they did as it worked. One of the two will prevail. My point is don't rest assured beating the Eagles last weekend so convincingly will guarantee a win this coming weekend. If you bet on that, just remember two years ago. There were key mistakes in that game last week by the Eagles that if not repeated, the outcome could have been very different. Either way, regardless who wins, it is the game from hell for me. |

;sI kid, I kid!!! (though there really isn't an Eagles banter thread...but there is a 2010 Yankee's thread already...:confused:;)) As bad as that game was on Sunday, I'm hoping for a significantly different outcome on Saturday. I'm hoping Reid's first playoff game record and Phillips' overall playoff record both hold true. :D |

I think the answer lies with the team that won during the regular season, or in both of these cases, last week, probably does little to change their game plan, since after all, it worked. The team that loses, and in both these cases is slaughtered, has to go back to the beginning and start from scratch trying to figure out a better game plan then they had the last time and since theoretically, the winning team will likely use the same game plan, they know better what exactly to prepare for. There may be a whole lot of other reasons but that is my theory and I am sticking to i.:D |

That a way Cowboys!!! I pray Choice is fine, why the hell Wade keeps in his starters while trying to get a field goal in the last 4 minutes of the game and up by 20 boggles my mind. . .

Re: Cowboys Asylum
I would be scared playing anyone twice in a row. The defence was awesome. Romo was in the groove he did the syncronised first down with the offical also gave one of the officals the good game butt pat. he was feeling the flow.

Re: Cowboys Asylum
Congrats to The Boys for their first playoff win in a decade !! They looked very good.

I'm looking forward to watching this defense knock around Favre next week. I don't think they can stop our rush..

2. It wasn't "expert" advice. It was a prediction. Call it what it is. Even Madden is wrong with his predictions quite often. Enjoy the win. Well deserved. Just keep your feelings in check as you still have two more games to prevail in before you can do the big dance, and even then, you have to win that third one. |
