Re: First Firearms II
Haven't brought it out in a while, but I'm running a dedicated cmmg upper and redi-mag S&W magazine adapter. I don't recall having any complaints about it.
I did have the cmmg adapter and mags. It had problems with bolt hold open and mags were a pain to load. S&W mags are so much easier to load, best switch I made. Sometimes the last round bolt hold open wouldn't work but the ease of loading the magazines more than makes up for it. |
Re: First Firearms II
Found a deal I couldn't pass up and came home with an H&K Shield 40 and a RIA 1911 combo in .22 tcm/9mm

How is the 1911 set up? Does it come with a couple of barrels to swap out?

It has certainly become a buyer's market for boomsticks these last few months, I am enjoying the heck out of seeing some of the sale prices across the board.

Plus one just means the magazine will seat with one in the chamber. You can rack one in, eject the magazine, and load it back to full capacity. It can then be reinserted into the mag well so that you have a full magazine, plus one in the chamber. |
