I agree with you here. Game 5 was the first time they dominated any period so far in this series.

i watched pronger daily for a year when he played for the oilers...never seen him hit that solidly.

8 1/2 hours to go...part of me wants chicago to win tonight...part of me wants to see this continue to 7 games...best nhl playoff year in a decade.

Game 6 is not until tomorrow.

I'm calling Philly forcing Game 7 and Chicago taking it at home.

You could wel be right, Philly will be tough at home.

Even though I have a ticket for Game 7, I would prefer the Hawks step up and win Game 6...I don't know if my heart can take another 48 hours of this! :r

Deep breaths big boy DEEEEEEEEEEEP Breaths.
I must say I would love to see these two teams in a game 7. Someone might get badly injured though. No holds barred barbwire cage match.

Would give anything to be in that box between the benches for a game 7. I would be chirping my ARRRRSe off at everybody. :r

Hows that work if there is no game 7?

Refund?

Re: NHL '09 - '10 Thread

That's exactly it. Teams pre-sell all the tickets in a round as soon as they're confirmed into the round, if Games 5, 6 or 7 are not needed refunds are issued. I imagine some use pre-authorization instead of sale and refund, but it's really the same thing.

Yeah I thought it was...interesting.

Saw that, they'd better hope it does have the same effect as Willie Mitchell's comments about Kane last year....

I thought it was pretty stupid by the Tribune...juvenile stuff. I have seen a few NHL players that ought to wear skirts and carry purses....Chris Pronger ain't one of them. :2

Re: NHL '09 - '10 Thread

Pretty much, I don't really get whatever point it is they think they're making. If I was anyone to do with Chicago right now any I wanted to pick a player on Philly to rile up, Chris Pronger would be my last choice (unless I was shorting the Hawks with my bookie).

Game 7 here we come. I'd like to see Carcillo back in the lineup again tonight. I know he's a wild card and takes stupid penalties. But at home they can match him up selectively to bang up duncan and seabrook a bit, and he adds a ton of energy to the flyers and adds that edge that they need tonight. And I agree on chicago clearly outplaying philly in game 5, should be a good one tonight.

Re: NHL '09 - '10 Thread

That is lame. I dont get the point. He and the team are going to have that posted in the locker room. At home with now being slapped like that. Hmmm game 7 looking more likely now. I would almost think you will see an apology from the paper.

Lol Tom, hit him with your purse cindy.
