Outside the "throne room";) I'm still catching up on my Tom Clancy with Executive Orders.

I can't afford the cost of new books right now and, most depressingly, Buffalo's library system has taken a huge financial hit due to the local and national economies so I take full advantage of the various "library sales" & fundraiser book sales to stock my library. Then, the ones I probably won't read again I donate back.

In my inner sanctum I'm reading As I've Seen It: Wide Right and Other..., written by Buffalo's Channel 2 Sports Director, Ed Kilgore. It's a pseudo-memoir that spans his 40-year career covering Buffalo's pro football/hockey/basketball teams. Being a Buffalo transplant, it's kind of a history lesson for me. I did not realize that a couple of years ago, at 62, Kilgore climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

"Son and Daughters" by Brady Boyd finished, excellent!
"Messy Church" by Ross Parsley, a good guide, on growing a church, in the 21st century.
