Got 3 AR lowers coming in tomorrow supposedly from the Fathers Day sale. A threaded barrel should be here Saturday for the XD. yesterday picked up an AR7 survivalist just because the price was right, more of a novelty item I think, feels cheap, but a 22 plinker. Next week I should have the Ti-rant 45 take down tool in.

Very Nice Tim, but why do you still need something to carry? Put either of those in a Crossbreed Holster and your carry problem is solved.

would I be able to reasonably conceal those in shorts and a t-shirt?

well, I bought the 1911 for shooting at the range, it's way to heavy to carry

The XD is possible, but it's a bit large as well. I was thinking about a Glock 23 (gen 4) to carry, but really, something a little smaller would be better. It's hot here

I carry an XD45C or the XD40SC everyday in a Crossbreed Supertuck with jeans and a t-shirt or shorts and a t-shirt in the summer.

Check them out http://crossbreedholsters.com/

Re: First Firearm Thread.

yes, adjustable

I've not shot it yet, but I haven't shot a pistol without night sights in some time. I may need to put a white dot or something on the front sight, but we'll see

I might end up liking it better

Ordered some goodies and they all arrived this past week. Waiting for the shop to call and say my rifle is ready to be picked up. Getting pretty excited about putting this all together and shooting it. :noon

Hurry up and get to the range! I thought about painting my front sight on my RO as well, however when I took it to the range I didn't have any problems seeing it. Though I'm sure that all depends on what color your targets are.

My G23 is my normal carry gun and it's not very hard to conceal with a t-shirt, darker colors will also help break it up. You could go the next size down and get something like a G27.

Here's an old photo of some of mine.

http://pic.phyrefile.com/b/bl/blind_...8/img0527q.jpg

I've added a few to the collection since then, including one of these:
http://pic.phyrefile.com/b/bl/blind_.../main-1765.jpg

Also a Mosin Nagant and a Remington .22 semiauto rifle.

I'll see about getting some photos of the complete collection, I have them around here somewhere.
