Tuff loss, you like to get the win when you come back by 7 to tie the game. Coming into the season Pelf was the least pitcher I was worried about, tuff way to start season but I'm sure he'll turn it around. Gotta hope Doc has an off day tomorrow and we can sneak a win.

Won 8-4 to even the series with the Nats. Beltran finally wakes up with two jacks!! And 4-4 for the year... .500 ball is more than I am expecting this year!!

And the game of "put another quarter in the merry-go-round" starts very early this year...at least it's not the DL (yet).

After another disappointing outing by a taxed bullpen, the Mets will add two relievers to their roster before Monday's game against the Rockies.
Jason Isringhausen, who was drafted by the Mets in 1991 and made his Major League debut with the club in 1995, will join Ryota Igarashi in making the trip to Queens. To clear room on their roster, the Mets designated Blaine Boyer for assignment and optioned Lucas Duda to Triple-A Buffalo. Boyer took the loss in relief to the Nationals on Sunday after allowing four runs in two innings.

Uhgh, don't remind me, at least Izzy made a little bit of a career for himself. I remember the first game Pulsipher pitched in the bigs, I think it was against Yanks. I remember how amped he was and thought Ohhh yeah. Boy was I wrong :sl
