Followed by a Ramon Bueso Genesis the Project and it has taken five months to get good. The box was delivered with heavy lacquer smell and the cigars picked up the smell. Thank goodness that has finally passed and now this is the first one I have enjoyed. I have about ten more though so good :)

Given to me by one of my friends at my B&M. Honestly, it was beautifully constructed, burned perfect, and was very smooth. But it had little to no flavor. Very disappointing given the $14 price tag.

Biggest let down of the day. It was part of the MOW super perfecto sampler. Got it off of devil site for 23 bucks for 6 sticks. I haven't smoked any of the other sticks in the sampler to see if the flavors are the same as their regular sizes. But if I had paid 20 bucks for the stick, I would have been pissed.

Padron 2000 Maduro I picked up from the B&M today. Flavour bomb of cocoa and pepper, and I could taste the age on it. Now I have to go order a box though... The 4-pack I ordered earlier will not last long once it gets here.

Smoked one of the Ghurka Spec Ops that came in my travel humidor when I bought it 3 years ago. These were a gimmic that I bit on and I've passed most of them to my brothers in law...but 3 years in the humidor has done them some good. Actually not terrible.

5 Vegas Classic last night with a little Dewars and ice.

And I'm not afraid to admit that I have liked most of the Gurkha cigars that I have smoked. I realize that people bash different (mass produced?) cigars on here like wine snobs bash merlot/california reds/whatever WS dogs this month. But if you like it I don't think you require other folks approval to say you like it.

2009 Oliva V Maduro torpedo. Boy am I glad I bought a box of ten almost a year ago. This was the first one I have smoked. I've never smoked a cigar with such a creamy chocolaty taste. Smooth, great construction, and a nice powerful earthy finish. I have to say this was one of the best cigars I've smoked in a long time.
