Lot's of biggies so far at E3. Two new Halo games, new Crysis, new Crackdown, L4D2, Alan Wake is not dead, and an awesome trailer for the new Star Wars game.

But you know what, brand new Monkey Island was easily the most exciting thing announced so far. A remake of the classic as well as a new episodic mininseries? Nostalgia overload!

Only caught Microsofts presentation yesterday, didn't see the other coverage. But no worries, DVR'd all E3 Coverage :tu

Assassins Creed 2 is actually looking quite nice as well. Can't say I liked the first once much, but the demo showed quite a few improvements over the first. Kojima produced Castlevania also makes me happy!

I loved Assassin's Creed-except for the abrupt ending.

Finally got enough juice on my PC (well, I really using my son's machine ...) to play Mass Effect. Cool game!

Mass Effect is an awesome game. Judging by what I saw from E3, Mass Effect 2 should be even better!

I liked Assassin's creed and think if they improve some parts that AC2 is going to be awesome! Like cigargal said it ended rather quickly and I thought it was wayyyyyy too repetitive. Still really fun and the concept is great

Agreed. The pacing of the game is what killed me, there were stretchers of the game that felt like a chore.

On a side note, Steam is running a great weekend sale. Five bucks for the Penumbra collection, which is some of the scariest stuff on PCs!

Bought and loaded Assin's Creed before I realized it had console controls..... Any idiot who packages a freakin console game for the PC and doesn't take the time to remap the damn keys/mopuse for easier use than trying to hold down 3 to 4 keys at one time needs their finger nails pulled out 2 cm at a time until I get tired of listening to them scream. $$$ wasted.

agreed that AC was very repetitive but 2 is looking freaking awesome so far.

i'm currently looking forward to the re-release of Monkey Island and aiming to buy a Wii so I can get the episodic versions of the new Monkey Island.

Probably just easier to get a USB controller for your PC rather than fumble with. I can't really imagine playing AC on my computer, I had enough trouble on Xbox lol.

Let's put it this way... I never finished the tutorial. Llike I said - wasted $$$. I also bought Resident Evil part 3000000 or something like that and didn't realize it still had to be played like a controller. If I wnat a console - I'll buy one. Improperly porting that crap to a PC is irritating.

I don't play on the pc but I feel your pain. I bought Left For Dead, but I am waiting for the data migration cable to upload my save games on the new xbox-then I will play it. Been playing COD while I wait.

I went with Ghost Busters. Took me some time to decide what I wanted and figured since I grew up with the GB I wanted the game. I like it so far, But, These dang candle things keep killing me at the hotel while tracking the fishermen ghost. I just got it today. I'll play more tonight.

I'm a big GB busters fan and I love the game! Haven't played all the way through it, but I love the back and forth between the characters. Makes me want to watch the movies again.

Have you killed Azetlor yet? I been trying for an hour. Slim him to get the protective black slim off, Rip mask off and shoot his green eye, Sounds easy enough but He kills me every time with that crazy spiny thing, he's alway up my a$$! I give up for a while. The game got me all shaky and stuff...

Use the blue beam to slow him down and sprint into the nearest portal when he gets close to you :tu

Yeah he took me a good 5 tries to beat him. I kept hitting him with proton darts and darting into portals.

I rented Resident Evil 5 and got to the end of chapter 6-3 facing Wesker on the boat.

It's my new favorite game by far.

Anyone played Battlefield 1492, er 1943? :)
I downloaded the demo, then immediately bought the full version. I think it's well worth the 15 bucks. It's kind of a simplified version of 1942. Only 3 classes, 3 maps (a 4th is coming out), unlimited ammo. It's got jeeps, a couple kinds of tanks, boats, and planes. There are no bombers that you can get in, but there is an "air raid" mode where you guide the bombers to the target and release the bombs.

I don't expect it to keep me entertained for more than a couple weeks, but it's a total blast right now!

Anyone ever play the MMORPG Eve? It is getting older, but they update it from time to time. Just saw they released a Mac client, which is the reason I haven't been able to play in almost 2 years, that and the monthly fee gets annoying

Playing the beta pre-release weekends for Aion: Tower of Eternity, its an MMORPG for the PC. If you guys have ever gotten into WoW or other MMOs of that nature it is by far the visually intense around now. It will be out Sept. 27, 09. The combat system so far is alot of fun.

Scouring the interweb for details, rumors, lies, or any other info on the next Elder Scrolls. Morrowind was like taking the addictive properties of heroin and crack, combining them, and then injecting them with steroids. Oblivion followed up with better graphics, some good changes in gameplay, but the main storyline was short and predictable. Anyone read anything recently on ESV?

Send me a PM when the game releases. My guild is playing and there's almost 100 people in it that are going to be playing the US release of Aion. Btw, which beta server are you on? I have a 21 Chanter on Siel named Darracald.
