SM's Moka Kadir at 1/2 FC-1/2 Vienna is chocolatey, with fruit, ultra smooth, dark roast flavors. UB's Negrita 1/2 city+, 1/2 FC+ is nutty, chocolatey, not as bold, excellent. 2 different coffees to start my Saturday, it's gonna be a good day :noon

Finished up the Moka kadir today, very good, 6 days old

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?

I was recently at a casino in NY and had the best cup of coffee ever in one of the casino restaurant. When I asked the waitress what brand it was, she said people ask her that all the time, however she was unsure how to pronounce it. She failed at explaining the container to me as well. She said it comes in a bag that attaches to the machine thingy? I had her go write the name of it down, I will try to supply that name when/if I can find it.
I am at work now and the napkin with the name should be somewhere at home.

Another note I have a friend that order his beens green. he roasts them with a bar-b-que grill roaster attachment ($500) and packages them for a charity.
If he was interested in more business I would include more info, needless to say the coffee is great. If any of you have ever thought about roasting your own beans, do it! He sells it to me at $10/pound.

At home I have a Kuerig brewer and try many different brands and flavors of coffee.

Ethiopia Idido Misty Valley, from my freezer :cf2 roasted 2 days ago to 1/2 city, 1/2 FC, drip, splash. Very sweet, distinct BLUEBERRY, almost as good as when fresh. Must be the 1/2-1/2 roast because it didn't come out this good last time. I'm gonna use up the pound I got left.

Outstanding. The fruit of the harrar comes through but the cup has the heavy smooth java to balance. I think I prefer it this way to having the blend mixed before roasting.

Definetly! I like doing 2 different roasts of the same coffee and blending, too.
Bali Blue Moon today, roasted to FC-FC+ 2 days ago, drip, splash. Very nice, smooth, creamy, chocolatey, earthy and a savory hint that lingers in the finish.
