Definitly looks like a go fast. Keep the rubber side down in the turns.

Wheelie for safety, Hal. Besides, your front tire will last longer. :p

Nice ride, I see you can't get the Ducati out of your blood either. Hell, I named my cat 'Desmo' 13 years ago. :r :r

Amazing what 8 settings of traction control will do for a bike. On 8, you can go around a turn, punch it, and the throttle will automatically back off if the wheel slips the slightest bit. On setting 1, you can mash the throttle and it will allow you to go off road and hit trees. :D

So far I've been very impressed with their bikes. I like the feel and I've always ridden 4 strokes on the dirt so this is right up my alley for torque.

Put a K&N filter in at the end of last week. Need some hidden cash or some sweet talking to the wife to get me some new pipes. :D Got a buddy coming into town with his harley next week to do some riding with me.

I will ride with anyone. Did a ride a few weeks back with a guy on a 70's CB200. :D

Why is it that the Harley guys never wave when you pass them? Guess it's a Harley thing, gotta own one to be in the club?

I have to admit, I'm getting pretty tired of waving. Arround here it can get to be 5 or 6 times a mile. But then, I never claimed to be very social to start with.

I hear ya. It does get old having to costantly wave.

Re: Motorcycle Thread..

It rained over the weekend so it fudged up our riding plans. My buddy ended up staying a day extra just so we could go for a nice day ride. We did a little over two hundred miles yesterday and ended up going down to Helen, GA for lunch and a cold one. The high yesterday was seventy-five so it was perfect riding weather. Stopped at the top of some mountain for a scenic view. It was a great day.

Bump.

Anyone been riding lately or has the colder weather put the old two wheeler to rest for the season?

Anyone got any new toys or accessories?

Re: Motorcycle Thread..

Nope. I have always been scared of them. However, my dad is about to buy an HD Heritage Softail Classic and I fell in love with a Superglide that the dealership had in pre-owned stock. I am sorta kinda kicking around the idea of taking the riding class to see how it goes.
